This Payment Policy governs the terms and conditions under which north escrow processes and handles all payments in connection with its escrow services. By initiating or accepting an escrow transaction, you agree to the terms detailed below.

3.1. Accepted Payment Methods

  • Cryptocurrency: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), and other tokens as listed on the Site.

  • U.S. Bank Transfers: ACH (Automated Clearing House) and wire transfer via our banking partners.

3.2. Escrow Funding & Release

  • Funding: The Depositor must transfer funds/assets to the designated escrow wallet/account within 72 hours of invitation acceptance. Failure to fund within this period may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of the escrow fee.

  • Release: Funds are released to the Counterparty only after both parties confirm satisfaction of the escrow conditions, or upon resolution of any dispute by arbitration or mediation per our Terms of Service.

3.3. Fees & Billing Schedule

  • Escrow Setup Fee: A flat fee charged upon escrow creation.

  • Transaction Fee: A percentage of the escrow amount, deducted from the released funds.

  • Withdrawal Fee: A fixed fee for transferring funds from north escrow to your external wallet or bank account.

  • Currency Conversion Fee: Applied when converting between cryptocurrencies or between crypto and fiat.

All fees are displayed at checkout and are final. We reserve the right to adjust fees with 30 days’ notice.

3.4. Refunds & Chargebacks

  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds are available only if the escrow is canceled by mutual agreement before funding, or if we fail to process your properly submitted withdrawal request within the specified timeframe.

  • Chargebacks: Transactions funded via bank transfer are irrevocable. Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed once confirmed on the blockchain. Attempting a chargeback or reversal may constitute a breach of these terms and result in account suspension.

3.5. Dispute Handling
In the event of a disagreement over whether escrow conditions have been met, you may request mediation. Our dispute-resolution team will review transaction records, communications, and evidence submitted by both parties and issue a binding decision within ten (10) business days.
